Good morning everyone, and welcome back to the Blog! I have two book reviews for you today! I read both these romance novels by Colleen Hoover in February and I cannot believe I actually read 3 books in the month of February! I’m so proud of me, that’s a really good accomplishment for me. ANYWAYS, here are my thoughts and feelings towards both November 9 and Confess!
Enjoy😘
Alright y’all, those are my reviews, thoughts, and feelings for the last two CoHo books I’ve read! I really hope you dive into them as deep and as quickly as I have. I will say that I am taking another break from CoHo now and reading Lucy Score “Things We Never Got Over”, and so far I love it!
P.s. My goal this month is to read 4+ books and read 30 minutes a day!

Hi y’all, welcome back to Review’s by Tee! Today I decided to do book reviews a tad bit different than what you all previously saw. I found a template on Canva that has everything on it that I would like to share with you about the book. The title and author, genre, main characters, star rating, and my thoughts on it. So, below you will find said template and I hope you like how quick and to the point it is for you.
Before I begin though, I want to let you know that Tara Sue Me has about 12 books in her Submissive Series, I’ve read 9 of this series and 2 of her other series, Lessons From the Rack. If that doesn’t tell you anything, I LOVE HER BOOKS!
But without further ado, here is my quick book review on The Exhibitionist by Tara Sue Me.
P.s. Lots of super juicy content and scenes in this book, so make sure you’ve got tons of down time to read, you won’t want to miss it!
Alright everyone, I really hope you give this book a try and let me know what you think and how relatable the characters were to you! Thanks for reading. Please follow, like, share, and subscribe to my blog and social medias!
Oh, Colleen! You did it again girl! I cannot stress how much this book was needed! Thank you BookTok for pressing Colleen Hoover to write this for Lily and Atlas! I honestly enjoyed it so so much! Like everything about this book was needed! Lily did some self growth in this book, Atlas step up to the plate for his family, that he wasn’t even aware of, Ryle pulled himself together enough, it all was just GREAT! I didn’t ugly cry until the ending almost, at the most giving statement in the book. “It starts with us,” and BAWLED my eyes out! I won’t give away too many spoilers and say what that was about, but iykyk! 🥹🥲
I cannot get over how great of an author Colleen Hoover really is. Like I didn’t randomly find her, people have been suggesting I read her books, for a while. So when I finally got into them, I couldn’t put it down. And oh! The acknowledgments got me too! When Colleen Hoover said she was thankful for her readers, boogers, and librarians for sharing their love for reading! Ahhh! Something just hit me in the feels and I lost it again, because I’m sharing my love for reading by posting this book review for her books, and I have nothing bad to say about her books, other than some endings are rush. But hey, coming from someone who hasn’t ended a story of her own, I cannot talk too much about that 😂 ugh I just love the three novels I’ve read so far by her, and I suggest that if you’re getting into Hoover books, you should start with these three because they suck you in so fast and they do not disappoint!
I have another author, who’s books get me like that as well, Tara Sue Me, she’s really good, but Colleen Hoover, comes at a close second. I will also say, someone in my family asked if Colleen Hoover was the “new” Sarah Dessen and I will say, it does bring me back to the Sarah Dessen novels, even those were young adult novels, and these are adult, but the obsession I had with Dessen as a teen was probably just about the same for Hoover, her books are like the big sisters to Dessen’s books! Maybe one day I’ll even go back and read some do the Sarah Dessen novels!
Star Rating:
I would give this book another 5 out of 5! Better yet 10/10 recommend! You have got to read this book, and really do suggest reading It Ends With Us first before you start this one. She really did give us the love story that Lily and Atlas needed! Lily deserved to be loved the correct way, and Atlas was the man for that! I also am so happy for Atlas and what he got to do for his family because he really did exactly what I would have done for my family as well. And it hits home just a little bit! But before I give anymore spoilers at 6am this morning, I leave you with this: GO READ HER BOOKS! Now!
Alright! There is it is folks! Good morning and I hope you guys have a great day while I draft some more for you all! Wasn’t planning on taking yesterday off but things happen! Life happens! Love you! GO FOLLOW THE BLOG + INSTAGRAM! See ya in the next one! 👋🏾 ✌🏾
First of all, let me just start off by saying, “you did it again Hoover, you did it again!” When I tell you I don’t know which book I like more, Reminders of Him or It Ends With Us, I really can’t. I like both for different reasons considering how different both stories are. But I will say I almost was upset that the ending came so quick like that, like with Reminders of him, but Hoover gave us a sequel so I can’t really be that upset. I’m really excited to get into the next book!
Now, as far as character development and well-roundedness, I think Hoover did phenomenal job with all of the characters. Just like with the other novel. I believe each character seemed realistic, especially after finding out who the character were based off of, NO SPOILERS! These characters are so good that you feel with them, with each chapter, the anticipation grows, and grows, and grows, emotional roller caster for sure!! You will finish this book within 3 days tops ! I promise, everyone I know that has read it, has! You won’t be able to take it, so you’ll binge it as fast as you can. I sure did, 2 days I think it took me, that’s it!
That’s how good of a read this was for me. It was so entertaining. There was tons of jaw-dropping drama, ALLIGATOR TEARS, and ugly cries right off the back. Hoover wraps you up in a box and you forget to eat lunch, that’s the type of read this is.
Now for the more serious stuff. This book shows domestic abuse/violence and toxic relationships between characters. But the book also, shows empowered women! She takes it to the next level but shows you the “how’s” and “whys”. She really opened my eyes, with this story. Though I’ve never been in anything like that, thankfully, but I know that it’s easier said than done. But please, if anyone reading this, please know that this is NOT what you deserve, and that’s all I’m going to say, other than get out NOW! I really don’t know how I’d be if this were my life but what do I know is, is that GOD did not have that in HIS plan for me, or any of His children. So before I cry more, I say, to read this book, for enjoyment and entertainment, but also for a learning opportunity to educate yourself in that regard even if it were a fiction novel.
Star Rating:
I give this book a 5 out of 5 for being not only a phenomenal read, but for giving her readers an educational experience. As hard she said this was the write, she did an outstanding job at it! Thank you, Hoover, on to the next!

Reminders of Him was the first book of Colleen Hoover’s I actually read and I loved EVERY PAGE! I purposely would stop reading after certain points just so I could save the book and not finish it in one sitting, because trust me, I certainly could have! The chapters were just the right length, not too long and not too short. The best thing is, there’s two point of views, one from Kenna and one from Ledger, and oh my gosh! Ledger is my favorite male character so far and I’ve read a million novels and he’s by far the best one yet. Hoover did her thing when making sure he was a well-rounded character. All of her characters were well-rounded and popped off the page, for sure. Anyways, I like the two point of views because you get two sides to the story, and it makes you want to pick sides and I still don’t know which side I’m on, again no spoilers, but probably Kenna’s because she’s just trying to get her life together for her daughter.
In my opinion, this book was so emotional and had me in the feels for sure. I only teared up, A LOT! So thank Hoover for that haha. The most emotional parts were the letters Kenna wrote to Scotty, ugh! I won’t spoil it, but oh my gosh, each letter was so real and heartfelt, and as a writer, I just can feel her pain during these. Such a great job that Hoover did to get you wrapped up in Kenna’s head. Hoover really makes you feel each of the characters! You get wrapped up in all of them throughout the book. Especially the relationship between Ledger and Kenna! Ugh, it’s like you know they’re not supposed to but they do it anyways…okay okay okay, I’m gonna stop there before I ruin the book for you.
Just read it! Go on Amazon and buy it right now! But I give this book a 4.5/5 stars just because the ending seemed a bit rushed. I wanted more, but that could just be my bias opinion. A great read, I recommend everyone reads it!
